Paul Wilder

Professional Supporting Artist and Reality TV Contributor

Paul Wilder: My Quest for TV Fame:

Book Description:

Paul Wilder always had it firmly fixed in his mind that he wanted to be on TV, but realised that he didn't have any specific talent. By his own admission he couldn't sing, couldn't play an instrument or act. However, once he had contrived ways of appearing on TV, his quest for TV fame really began in earnest.

In this new book the reader is taken on a light-hearted journey as Paul describes his numerous prolific game show and quiz show appearances (including two bans he received during the process). Wilder also reveals how his enthused quest has led him to appearing as a supporting artist on some of UK's top TV programmes, including: EastEnders, The Bill and Holby City.

Along the way, Paul also reveals the eclectic array of celebrities that he has worked with or encountered - Freema Agyeman, Paul Daniels, Connie Fisher, Des O'Connor, Jonathan Ross and Jerry Springer - to name just a few.

This is an engaging book full of personality, which is befitting of the subject itself. Wilder is a unique and refreshingly enthusiastic individual with an inspiring zest for life. In reading Paul's life story, written with Paul Burton, one is able to learn more about the subject and his continuing quest for TV fame.

I wish I knew Paul Wilder's secret. He's had a longer running media career than me and been on more shows. Read his book. I know I will.

Kaye Adams, TV presenter

Meeting Paul Wilder totally inspired me. He's a fantastic bloke. This book should be turned into a movie or a sitcom. I'll play him!

Good luck with it Paul.
